Chapter 21: a Shocker?! part 1

(Pokemon Gym Theme Plays)
--Voice-Over: so now we're using Anim---*gets shocked by Author*
Author: I have a new policy, my pikachu is trained to electrocute you whenever you question me or my music selections, now onto the Story
- Silver wakes up and rubs his eyes
Silver: *yawns* what a day, what a day to challenge the Vermillion Gym for my 3rd badge
Samson: i couldn't agree more, but are you sure you're prepared
Silver: psst, yea, my pokemon can win
- Jordan walks in with a coffee
Jordan: morning all, man when i passed that gym this morning there were sparks flying, maybe the gym........(Silver and Samson run out) oh they've gone, wait for me guys!
- Silver and Samson reach the Gym
Silver: right, time to go insid------(gets shocked)- aghh that hurts
Jordan: (runs in) what did i tell you
Silver: Plan B (shouts) I'm here to challenge you
???: Very well Squirt, enter!
- All 3 enter the gym
Samson: look at all the sparks
???: Welcome to the Vermillion Gym, i am Lt. Surge otherwise known as the Lightning American
Jordan: look at his size
Samson: that's what she said
Lt. Surge: so..which of you babies wants to challenge me
Silver: i will! your previous comment got me all fired up.
Ref: The Gym battle between Silver from Pallt Town and Lt. Surge will now begin. Each side will use 3 pokemon and the battle will be over when all 3 pokemon on either side are unable to continue. In addition, only the challenger may substitute pokemon, now begin!
(HGSS Kanto Gym Leader Music Plays)
Silver: Go Mankey!
MANKEY: mankeeey! (Hii--ya)
Lt: Voltorb, eliminate that unevolved wimp!
VOLTORB: voollll--torrrbbb (eliminate!)
Silver: Mankey, use Brick Break!
Lt. Surge: dodge, and use Shock Wave!
- Voltorb used his speed to dodge theattack, and then it sent a Shock Wave towards Mankey who didn't see the attack coming and is hit.
Silver: (thinking of options) Use Leer and then Karate Chop!
Lt. Surge: Dodge now!
Silver: change direction now!
- Upon hearing Lt. Surge shout "dodge" Mankey swiftlychanged direction and hit voltorb with the karate chop, it was a critical hit too, and Voltorb fainted
Lt. Surge: Now, go Electabuzz!
ELECTABUZZ: Eeelecctaa! (you're going down!)
Lt. Surge: now go and use Thunderpunch!
Silver: Mankey, counter with Karate Chop
- both pokemon lunged at each other with their attacks at full force, unfortunately Electabuzz was stronger and the power of the thunderpunch sent Mankey against the wall, paralyzed and fainted
Samson: this looks bad, that Electabuzz looks strong
Jordan: i agree
Silver: return Mankey, you done a good job
Lt. Surge: you see kid, i trained my Electabuzz ever since it was an Elekid, so now what are you gonna do
Silver: this. Go Ivysaur!
IVYSAUR: Ivvvy! (my time to shine.)
Silver: Razor Leaf!
Lt. Surge: continous Ice Punch!
- The Ice Punches froze the Razor Leafs, and then Electabuzz jumped towards Ivysaur, and as it got closer, vines came out
Silver: Now! use Vine Whip!
- The Vine Whip, knocked Electabuzz back
Lt. Surge: Double Ice Punch!
- Ivysaur tried to use Vine Whip to stop one of the Ice Punch, however since Eletabuzz used both arms, Ivysaur couldn't stop it and became Frozen
Samson: this is bad
Jordan: wow, you have a nack for making understatements dont you?
Lt. Surge: Finish it with Thunderpunch!
Silver: Vine Whip now!
- Ivysaur couldn't use Vine Whip as it was too cold to move and then the Thunderpunch hit knpcking out Ivysaur
Silver: return Ivysaur, man that Electabuzz is powerful, now go Espeson!
Lt. Surge: use Ice Punch!
Silver: use Confusion to control the Ice Punch!
- As Espeon used Confusion Electabuzz stopped dead ints tracks. Espeon then controlled the Ice Punch to punch Electabuzz, freezing it.
Silver: Finish it with Psybeam!
- The Psybeam came at Electabuzz so fast, the impact caused a minor explosion, and when the explosion cleared, Electabuzz was knocked out.
Lt. Surge: impressive kid. now meet my final pokemon. go Raichu!
RAICHU: Rai Rai (i'm no pushover)
Lt. Surge: this here Raichu is my most powerful pokemon, i feel that a pokemon should evolve quickly, and now i'll show you this power, Use Thunder!
Silver: Dodge it now!
- Espeon tried to use its speed to dodge, but ultimately it was all for nothing as he was hit by thunder, paralyzing it.
Silver: Espeon, use Shadow Ball!
Lt. Surge: time to finish this, use Volt Tackle!
Sa and J: what!?
- Raichu is speeding towards Espeon, the Shadow Balls was destroyed, then Espeon got its act together and jumped out of the way, only for Raichu to jump up and hit Espeon, sending it to the ground
Silver: Espeon get up....
- Espeon tried to get up, but it had no more reserves left, and fell to the ground, knocking it out.
Ref: Espeon is unable to battle, and that means the winner of the battle is Lt. Surge
Lt. Surge: hm...looks like i win, nice try kid...huh?
- tears start running from Silver's eyes
Lt. Surge: snap out of it kid, you done well, i done better
Jordan: Pikachu, zap that heartless moron
PIKACHU: pikka chuuuuu (take this!)
- Silver, Samson and Jordan leave for the pokemon center
Silver (pounding wall) i an't believe i lost
Samson: you have to admit, Jordan's stunt was funny though
Silver: i guess
Nurse Joy: i am happy to report, your pokemon are all better
Silver: excellent, now it's time we trained up
Sa and J: right
