Krillin for the win. He has been Goku's best friend since they were kids. It was sad when Frieza killed Krillin, but this is why Goku turned ssj. To avenge the death of his best friend.

Mine would be piccolo since he seemed to be the only non sayain who could put up some fight against the later dbz villains.
