Permission

I am asking for permission to "advertise" mini-games on this forum. I think it would be a great addition. By "advertise" I just mean give a link to the download file. I do not require anything in return.

The games will be single player, so the forum will not need to host anything.

That is a game I threw together recently. Try it out please.

When you open the .rar, click open the folder and double click the .dmb file. If there are any bugs or it doesn't work tell me.

If this is allowed we should make a new section for people to post mini-games theyve made.

The difference is that mine are made from a platform called BYOND. They are programmed in a language called DM.

You can post a link to games you made, sure.

It won't let me open the file its asking me to select a program to open it with

Browse>Kanto Maze Folder where the game is>bin>byond(blue circle)

So I could easily advertise a game on here and when someone downloads it, they find out it's a virus.

This plan sounds completely foolproof.

Is this enough proof that it's not a virus?

My sentiments exactly. You don't know just how easy it is to implement a virus into a game without anyone knowing.

Not to mention if they're games that are pirated, it’s illegal.

That doesn't really prove anything.

Laws are so problematic these days.

If anyone gets viruses ever the person who gave the virus will be perma banned.

JD has a point though, you never know.

Exactly, you don't know, even before downloading the file.

And screencapping it barely proves anything in all honesty.

It's only wise to download things from trust sites anyway. It helps reading the comments left by other users too.
