I like pikachu's electroshock and some other plant related powers and aquatic abilities.

Your talking about both moves and abilitys?

example of move: flamethrower
example of ability: Hydration

Dunno exactly, so I'm using a general term. XD So, what's the difference between a move and an ability?

A move is there attacks.

An ability is special powers that give them advantages or disadvantages in battle.

For example: Electivire has an ability that makes him absorb other electric moves. So if Pikachu used thundershock on it, Electivire would just absorb it.

I like fire type moves the most, because fire is my favorite pokemon type.

I think the best type of move is Psychic because it does a lot of damage to pretty much anykind of Pokemon.

Yeah any Pokemon accept Dark types. It is a very good move.

For abilitys, I also like Water Absorb. My Vaporeon has it and if water type moves are used on it Vaporeon gets healed instead of damaged. Levitate is also cool because ground moves don't affect Pokemon with Levitate.
